Canoe cutie gets tattooed Jenny has Beijing on her mind – and her tattoos!

Olympic canoeist Jenny Bongardt (25) has shown off her passion for the Olympics by getting a tattoo across her arm.
She already has the stunning bronze body which she displayed in a Playboy shoot – now she just needs the gold medal from the games next month!

Germany has high hopes for the buxom blonde fraulein who will be competing in the slalom canoe event at this summer's Olympic Games in Beijing. Bongardt is ready to rock and roll: she now has a tattoo on her arm featuring the Olympic rings and the words "Peking" and "Athens" (where she competed in 2004).

It's a fittingly hardcore accessory for this tough chick, who became world champion of slalom canoe in 2007.
About her tattoo, Jenny told BILD: "I wanted something special for the games. Something that will hopefully always remind me of the amazing time I had there."
Jenny got her inking done at the Augsburg tattoo studio "Hot Needles". "I'm not afraid of needles. Lying there while it was being done was simply relaxing."
Jenny also showed off her racier side in a seductive playboy photo shoot last year. You won't see any of her tattoos, new or old, in these sexy pictures though: Playboy retouched the images to remove the tats.
"It was supposed to be a little fancier," explained Jenny, smiling. "The rings are an enormous motivation for me. They remind me of my great goal: a medal from Beijing!"

Craig to Star in US Tattoo

Daniel Craig will star in the English-language remake of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo." plus the two potential follow-ups based on author Stieg Larssons best-selling trilogy. David Fincher is on board to direct the adaptation, which Steve Zaillian is writing and Scott Rudin is producing for Sony Pictures.
With development and production on the next James Bond film recently halted, Craig needed a new job, and the Larsson trilogy provides him with another franchise. Music Box Films is in the process of releasing the original Swedish-language film adaptations in the United States. "Tattoo" has grossed $9.6 million in the United States and $92 million internationally. The second film, "The Girl Who Played With Fire," has grossed $2.9 million Ln the United States since its release earlier this month. It grossed $51 million internationally. "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest" is scheduled to be released later this year. Reuters

It’s hard to look authentically rebellious or menacing these days, when even well-behaved businessmen wear earrings and ponytails and college students destined for quiet suburban lives have body piercings and tattoos.
Tattoos, in particular, are not the radical brandings, the bold violations of flesh and propriety, they once were. Available in New York from almost 1,400 licensed tattoo artists, tattoos are probably better and safer now than they’ve ever been — more creative and varied, applied in many cases by serious, highly skilled body artists.
Then again, there are tattoos, and there are tattoos. It is unlikely that the ambitious professional with a single, understated, discreetly placed and wittily conceived tat, or for that matter the teenager with her boyfriend’s name and two lovebirds emblazoned in the small of her back, will ever have tattoos on the face and scalp, or a full chest or back “panel” or a tattooed arm or leg.
Some tattoo aficionados, though, have transformed large portions of their bodies into multicolored canvases for all manner of skulls, serpents, raptors, flame-breathing dragons, flowers, vines, angels, demons, daggers, buxom bombshells and portraits of heroes and loved ones.
